It’s the fouth day of Blogtober and I’m behind already! I haven’t had a pocket of time to bulk write a few posts yet, which is handy to get ahead for when you have busy days. I have lots of posts planned and some already in drafts but they’d need more time and attention than I had time to give yesterday or today. So I hope a quick chatty post is okay:

I thought as I’m getting the coach to Cardiff today, I could make the most of not driving and write a few posts. But now, I’m on the coach, I’ve remembered I’m not able to work or even read on the coach anymore. I don’t get travel sick but I do get a bit nauseous and fatigued when travelling. Thankfully, I don’t when I’m driving but then I’m unable to do anything else of course.
I find it difficult to stay awake but don’t want to fall asleep as I’ll feel awful after sleeping without my CPAP machine and I expect I’d snore really loudly without it which wouldn’t make me very popular with the other travellers!
Thankfully, I’m quite happy just sat thinking (I’ll write a few blog posts in my mind, I expect lol. Do any other bloggers find themselves doing that? I do while driving or walking the dog etc, then quickly type it up once I finally get to my laptop) and looking out of the window enjoying the journey. We’ve already passed Neyland Marina, Pembroke Castle and the Tenby Town Walls. It’s an interesting journey. I find time passes quickly.
I am so happy to be travelling to see Rebecca. I can’t wait to have our Cardiff adventure. I’m sure I’ll write up about it tomorrow and then carve out time for myself to sit and write some Blogtober posts- which I can’t wait to do. I also can’t wait to go on a proper autumn walk and visit a pumpkin patch as they opened this weekend. It was so hot yesterday, it didn’t feel like October at all, but it’s cooler today so hopefully we’ll ease into “proper” autumn now.
Coincidentally, I just looked up and realised we were by Rebecca’s old place of work, where I spent many cumulative hours driving her back and for before she could drive herself. It took a lot out of my time, but I loved the time spent together chatting. I realise at the moment, I’d have a lot more time of my own, if I didn’t still drive everyone here, there and everywhere, but the time will soon come when they don’t ask me to anymore so in a way I do want to make the most of it.
Right, I’m off now to sit back, relax and enjoy the journey.
I hope everyone has had a lovely weekend!

I am the same, I never get travel sick when driving because I’m concentrating on the road. But, I can’t concentrate on anything else when travelling as a passenger, apart from maybe an audio book. I worry about snoring while sleeping too! I hope you have a wonderful time with Rebecca.

I’m glad it’s not just me. It’s such a shame as we could get so much done while not driving 😂 I have to pack my headphones next time- I’m out of the habit for some reason. Thank you. Nearly there 🥰 xxx
