3. Gourmet Sandwich Experiments
We’ve all enjoyed watching him sitting on a park bench, making a sandwich, quite literally from scratch, much to the amusement (rather shock) of his neighbour. But Mr. Bean takes his sandwiches very seriously. So he decides to learn how to grow vegetables in his back garden for the freshest ingredients.
You can sense the anticipation as he waits patiently for his tomato, lettuce, cucumber, and basil plants to grow. Every once in a while, he murmurs to them in a language only he can understand. When the day finally arrives, he harvests them and brings them into his kitchen, washed and ready for his sandwich experiment. He dries the lettuce and basil leaves using his signature method, which is popping them into his sock and spinning them like a lasso. Expect him to trim the lettuce and basil leaves with surgical precision and slice the tomatoes and cucumbers so fine that they’re almost invisible.
It’s then he realises he’s out of bread.
4. Silent Street Karaoke
In Mr. Bean’s world, music is optional. To him, performance is everything. Watching street performers and buskers, he’s secretly inspired to try entertaining people on his own.
Right across the street from his home, he would set up a mic stand and launch into a full-blown concert performance with no sound whatsoever. You can only see his dramatic facial expressions and exaggerated gestures, making all the noise. He will switch genres in quick succession, from an opera singer crying soulfully to a metal rockstar headbanging, all without a single note being played.
Onlookers would be dumbfounded to see him perform while confirming their hearing levels. What would catch anyone’s fancy is watching him use everyday objects like a lampshade for a lady and his Teddy as a microphone. You may also see him pause mid-performance to gracefully bow deeply to acknowledge imaginary applause. People donate cash after mistaking him for a busker, which pushes him to encore with even more intensity and confidence, fully convinced he’s delivering a legendary performance.
5. Creating DIY Videos
You may not notice it, but Mr. Bean secretly nurtures a passion to create DIY content. Inspired by today’s TikTokers and YouTubers, he sets up a camera in his home and gets ready to film DIY video tutorials with absolute authority and unshakeable confidence.
On his “Mr. Bean Fixes” channel, his first few video tutorials show him overcomplicating a simple repair. Instead of fixing a leak, he redirects water elsewhere, resulting in flooding the room. He’d also flex the handyman that he is by trying to repair furniture in ways that defy the laws of physics. People would watch him for his antics and putting himself in comical situations without realising.
Throughout it all, he would remain calm and instructional, nodding approvingly and taking pride in his own handiwork. The final result would be questionable at best, but he’d end every video with his trademark innocent smile, fully convinced he’s just changed millions of lives.
