Day 10 of Blogmas- yes we’re in double figures already! Today, we went to Nan’s house to see Santa pass by. Every year, Milford Haven Round Table put on a “Santa’s Tour of Milford Haven”, where Santa visits nearly every street in our town. It is so exciting for the younger children children and brings back happy memories for the older generations. He actually passed our own street earlier in the week but sadly we were out, so it was good to see him tonight.
This year Santa was joined by Sparkle the Elf and also some Reindeer. The Round Table will be out every night of the week. Keep an eye on the Milford Haven Round Table page to find out where they are next and where the sleigh stops for photos and to meet Santa- so special for younger children. I have happy memories of waiting forSanta to come round on this tour when I was a child. We’d hear him in the street behind us first, then know it was nearly time to go out and see him. The next day in school, everyone would be talking about it. Nowadays there is a Santa Tracker, which my kids used to love. As more houses are built, the route takes longer so more days have been added.
Thanks to Santa, Sparkle and Milford Haven Round Table for giving up so much of their time organising this for the children and families in our town.
