It’s nearly time…the Torch Theatre in Milford Haven is preparing to welcome audiences for its festive 2025 pantomime, Rapunzel, running 6–28 December. This year’s production brings a Pembrokeshire twist to the classic fairytale, re-imagining Rapunzel as a young heroine locked away in a lighthouse overlooking the local coastline- it sounds amazing, we can’t wait!
With its mix of comedy, music, and traditional audience participation, the show promises the lively atmosphere Torch Theatre pantomimes have become known for. Audiences can expect original songs, energetic choreography, lots of opportunities to join in (“Oh yes, there are!”) and plenty of family-friendly humour, all wrapped in a coastal setting that reflects the theatre’s maritime surroundings.
Inclusive Performances
The run includes two specially adapted shows:
- Relaxed Performance: Saturday 13 December, 2pm
- BSL-Interpreted Performance: Tuesday 16 December, 6pm (interpreted by Liz May)
These performances aim to make the production accessible to a wider audience, including those who may benefit from a more informal theatre environment or require signed interpretation.
