On Thursday 9th October, the Torch Theatre will officially open their new production The Turn of the Screw. As readers know, every year I look forward to their new autumn show. A bright young woman arrives at Bly Manor, to act as governess to two orphaned children. But over the course of seven days an eerie mystery unravels – what happened to the former governess? And who is the man that keeps appearing around the manor grounds?
This theatrical adaptation is an imaginative tour de force for two actors, who will keep you enraptured as we witness the haunting of Bly Manor.

This sounds like an intriguing play to go and see. I have been saying to my daughter we need to make the most of our local theatres and start going. I will look out for this to see if it is near me
I’m an avid theatre goer although I usually choose musicals or ballet. I have been to see a few mysteries though. The Turn of the Screw sounds really good.
Sounds quite sinister but I am enjoying theatre again now after not going for a long time!
