It’s Blogmas Advent Day 20- a very special day- Izzy’s 13th birthday (you can read Isabelle’s birth story here)! I do find it difficult making her birthday special when it’s so close to Christmas. I asked her what she wanted to do for her birthday this year and she wanted Boboa Tea and a Chinese takeaway so that’s what we planned. Tomorrow, she’s meeting up with friends for Mcdonalds and a movie.
Not all of the family could celebrate tonight so we’ve got a few more treats planned too. We had a lovely afternoon and evening. It was very relaxed with lots of laughter. It is Izzy’s first birthday since we lost Toby dog so there were some tears over our lovely lovely boy. He is so missed. We just feel like he should still be here with us.
The kids have now broken up for Christmas! Yay!
