Easter Themed Activities
1. Easter Events at Scolton Manor
There’s lots going on at Scolton Manor this Easter. The Spring Fayre will be held on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 April and Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 April in the Green Barn (next to the Margaret steam engine) between 10am and 4pm. The family Easter Eggstravaganza will be held between Saturday 1st and Sunday 16th April.

2. Easter Egg Hunt at Picton Castle Gardens
7th-10th April, 10 – 5
Join Picton Castle this Easter for a fun-filled egg hunt around the gardens! If you manage to follow the trail correctly and find all the eggs, a chocolatey treat will be waiting for you at the finish!

3. Easter at Folly Farm Adventure Park & Zoo
1st April – 16th April 2022
A visit to Folly Farm is always fun, but during the Easter fortnight there’s even more to do. There’ll be card hunts and picture trails and an Easter themed photo opportunity in the Jolly Barn. How egg-citing!
The giant rabbits in the Jolly Barn will be hoppy to see you! Look out for the Spring lambs and chicks too.

New for 2023 Meet and Feed Lambs Experience
Folly Farm’s new “meet and feed our lambs experience” gives adults and children the chance to get up close and help bottle feed their lambs in the Jolly Barn, meet the Jolly Farmers and take home a personalised certificate and cuddly toy to remember this special experience.

4. Easter Egg Hunts at Colby Woodland Garden
7th – 10th April 2022, from 10am to 5pm (last entry at 4pm)
Make your way along the trail and find nature-inspired activities for the whole family. The trail takes place between 7 – 10 April 2023, from 10 am to 17.00pm, with last entry at 16.00pm, so come along and explore the beautiful woodland environment of Colby Woodland Garden. Members park free, Non-members pay normal car parking charges, plus £3 per trail, including a chocolate egg, or vegan and Free From chocolate egg, made here in the UK from cocoa that’s responsibly sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms. 5. Feed the Lambs at Willhome Farm Barn, Pembrokeshire
The ewes at Willhome Farm Barn will start lambing the week before Easter holidays. Visitors may be lucky and get the chance to see lambs being born, and can even bottle feed any ‘pet’ lambs their milk (no additional cost)!

6. The Easter Eggspert Trail at Pembroke Castle
1 Apr 23- 16 Apr 23
After a row around Pembroke Castle, explore the castle and grounds. This year there is a free Easter Eggspert Trail to enjoy too (admission fee to Pembroke Castle applies).
The Eggspert Trail: This quiz is over easy for most eggsperts, but some may have to scramble their fried eggheads over these hard-boiled questions. Don’t get yourselves into a pickled egg, see if you can poach the answers from the sunny-side-up signs around the Castle. Beat the quiz, whip around the trail and find the nest, and you will soufflé be the eggspert omelette of the day. Get cracking!
The trail is free to everybody visiting the castle over the Easter Holidays.
Don’t forget that guided tours are included with your entry fee (from £6 for children 3+), the guides are all very friendly and happy to pass on the most amazing stories, suitable for all ages.

Oriel y Parc also have some extra fun organised for Easter! Join their Wednesday Club for drop-in Arts and Craft Workshops! They’ve got a Bee Friendly Planting Workshop where you can decorate a pot, plant your seeds, take them home and watch them grow!

9. The Three Amigos Easter Egg Run
Sunday 2nd April
Keep a look out for The Three Amigos on their annual Easter Egg Run- it’s always an eggs-citing sight! They are also running an Easter Egg Run Colouring Competition.

They will leave Commons Carpark, Pembroke at 1 pm. Look in their Facebook group for the route map and more times.
They will be accepting cash donations only on the route.

10. Easter Kids Party at Queens Hall, Narberth

12. Easter at Manor Wildlife Park

We always get Manor Wildlife Park Season tickets as it’s one of our favourite places to visit regularly. We love the walk through enclosures- the wallabies and lemurs are gorgeous. The kids also love the play areas and willow houses. This easter they also have an egg – cellent egg trail! 14. Welsh Wildlife Centre
I’ve included the Welsh Wildlife Centre as it’s on the Pembrokeshire/Cardigan border. It’s a lovely place to visit and they always put on great activities for children. This Easter holidays they’re offering pond dipping, crafty afternoons, mini beast safaris, clay creature modelling and slate painting. Check their website for the activity days, times and prices.

15. Children’s Activity Day at Bishop’s Palace, St Davids, Pembrokeshire
Fri 07 Apr – Tue 11 Apr 2023, 09:30 – 17:00
Come to St Davids Bishop’s Palace and take part in a fun trail through the site to find baby animals and then find their names in a wordsearch (provided in Welsh and English). A variety of animal face stamps on offer and a ‘Decorate your own Fence’ sheet based on the Rubin Eynon gates and fence at the entrance to the site.

16. The Dinosaur Park Tenby
The Dinosaur Park is great fun to visit, in addition to the amazing dinosaurs there are also lots of amazing manned rides included in the entrance fee. This makes the Dinosaur Park a great value day out.

18. Clerkenhill Adventure Farm & Frisbee Golf
Another all year round favourite days out of ours is to Clerkenhill Adventure Farm and Frisbee Golf. We love the special walks, seeing the farm animals, the play areas and playing a round of crazy golf.

19. Castell Henllys
10am – 1pm and 2pm – 5pm
Experience the Iron Age at Castell Henllys Iron Age village. With your entry ticket you will have three hours to explore all of the outdoor and indoor areas of Castell Henllys Iron Age Village, including the woodland and Barefoot Trail. In the village itself, friendly members of the tribe will tell you all about life in the Iron Age. You will also have the opportunity to take part in a crafty activity or to watch a demonstration of an ancient craft.
If you want even more of an adventure then you can purchase a self-led activity ‘Warrior Quest’ where there are riddles to solve and challenges to complete with a prize for those who succeed!

20. Llys-y-Frân Lake
After a major redevelopment, Llys-y-Frân Lake recently reopened. For a parking charge of £3 there is a lot to enjoy from walking, cycling, visiting the church, the Dam, visitor centre, play area and cafe.
For an additional fee there are extra activities, such as archery and watersports.

21. Hangar 5 Trampoline Park and Soft Play
Let the kids bounce off their energy at Hangar 5 Trampoline Park and Soft Play. Their time attack activity is located next to the trampolines and is free to use when you book an hour or two hour bounce. The soft play is £3 to enter the 0-3 area per child (parents and carers are permitted). It’s £5 to enter the 3-8 years soft play and no adults are allowed in. The cafe is open to bouncers and non-bouncers alike to grab a coffee, tea or cold drink, and, during peak times the kitchen is open serving a range of hot freshly prepared foods.

23. “I Spy with my Little Eye” at the Torch Theatre
Wed 5th April
The People’s Theatre Company presents:
I Spy With My Little Eye – The Party!

23. THE AMAZING BUBBLE MAN (2023) at the Torch Theatre
Tuesday 11th April
Louis Pearl has been thrilling audiences around the world for over 30 years with the art, magic, science and fun of bubbles. He is a favorite at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, where he has enjoyed twelve years of sell-out success.
Louis explores the breath-taking dynamics of bubbles, combining comedy and artistry with audience participation and enough spellbinding bubble tricks to keep everyone mesmerized. From square bubbles, bubbles inside bubbles, fog-filled bubbles, giant bubbles, bubble volcanoes, tornados and trampolines to people inside bubbles, the Amazing Bubble Man conjures shrieks of laughter and gasps of amazement from all ages.
Most shows will also feature multi instrumentalist Jet Black Pearl accompanying Louis with bubbly music to double your pleasure.

24. Llanion Cove Outdoor Adventure Centre
Book some fun outdoor activities at Llanion Cove. Llanion Cove is set within a picturesque ancient woodland area on the banks of the river Cleddau with trails for walking.
The Cove is a balconied waterfront cafe, restaurant and bar, a large venue with panoramic views of the Cleddau estuary.
Llanion Adventures offers kayaking, sailing, power boating and many other water based activities.
Within the grounds there is an indoor climbing wall suitable for both novice and experienced climber
alike this can be rented with a qualified instructor and is home to local climbing clubs. There is also an enclosed five a side/ basketball court.

25. A Boat trip to Caldey Island, Tenby
Reopening Wednesday 13th April 2022 (no sailings on Good Friday or Sundays)
A day out in Tenby is always fun and from this Easter, the day trips to Caldey Island will be running again. Caldey Island is a holy island and home to Cistercian monks. Enjoy the boat trip, then take a walk exploring the island. Visit The Priory, Churches, Perfume Shop, Chocolate Factory and Lighthouse. It’s a lovely day out.

26. Skomer Island

27. Wild Lakes
Opening 1st April
Find your Wild Now! Whether its eating in the Tipi’s, learning to boulder, having a blast on the Ringo or mastering wakeboarding. There’s something for everyone at Wild Lakes this Easter!
Wild Lakes offer wakeboarding lessons, bouldering wall lessons, yoga and also have tipis open serving lunch & dinner times for post-activity recovery. The Aqua Park will be open 8th May. Booking recommended.

28. Phoenix Bowl (and Pirate Pete Soft Play)
Phoenix Bowl is a great activity, even on a rainy day. The bowling lanes are open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 11pm, with a maximum of six people per lane. There is also a soft play area for younger kids, arcade games and a cafe.

29. Pembrokeshire Leisure Centres
There are lots of activities going on at each of Pembrokeshire’s Leisure Centres: Crymych, Haverfordwest, Fishguard, Tenby, Pembroke and Milford Haven. 30. Pembrokeshire Libraries
I’m not sure if there are any special Easter events taking place at Pembrokeshire Libraries this year. However, a visit to the local library is always a must to inspire a love of reading. There are also audio books and DVDs available to borrow. Look out for their regular Baby Rhyme Time and story time sessions for children at certain libraries.
