It’s October! As Anne of Green Gables said, “I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers.” I do love this time of year, there are lots of cosy activities to look forward to. Take a look at our Autumn Bucket List, which we’ve started ticking off already:

- Go on an autumn walk.
- Jump in the crispy autumn leaves!
- Celebrate autumn birthdays.
- Make seasonal soup- yum!
- Drink a seasonal drink, such as Pumpkin or Apple and Cinnamon Syrup Latte
- Go pumpkin picking!
- Carve or decorate pumpkins.
- Light a seasonal candle, such as Pumpkin Spice.
- Watch a spooky movie.
- Rewatch Hocus Pocus and then settle down to watch Hocus Pocus 2 on Disney!
- Knit some wrist warmers.
- Have a board games evening.
- Have a “Lights Off” evening and turn off as much power as possible.
- Stargaze.
- Read an autumn book.
- Bake a cake.
- Make an autumn wreath.
- Go for an autumn dip in the sea.
- Use an autumn bath bomb.
- Sit around a campfire.
- Watch a firework display.
- Light a sparkler.
Which activities will you also be doing this autumn? Let me know in the comments!

Your bucket list sounds fun, I hadn’t thought of a lights off evening before, can’t say I would want to have a dip in the sea either so well done for even contemplating it

We love cold water swimming- so refreshing. We used to do “Earth hour” every year so that’s what first inspired our lights-out nights xxx
I like the idea of a board game evening, we tend to play Mario Kart or JackboxTV but it would be nice to actually get a board game or two out.

Jackbox TV sounds like fun! Love Mario kart too. I feel so bad as my two youngest often ask to play board games with me and I so often say, sorry not enough time. I vowed that I wouldn’t be like that as a mum but it’s hard to do everything. So I’ll definitely make time on a rainy Sunday afternoon xxx
We are planning to do a lot of these things too! I think I will be giving having a dip in the sea a miss though. Brr!! hehehe

I think cold water swimming is a bit like marmite- you either love it or hate it! 😂 xxx
Great list of Autumn activities! Several of these are on my list as well. Definitely need to make some s’mores by the campfire and cozy up with a warm beverage and a book.

Yes, sounds so cosy xxx
Your bucket list is so fun and should make lots of memories to look back on in the future. I love how you have so many activities that use all the senses. That is some of the fun of this season- all the smells.

Thanks! That wasn’t intentional but yes all the senses are covered lol xxx
Confession: I’ve never had a pumpkin spice anything!
Great list!

Thanks for reading xxx
We need to have a board games evening. Everyone is so busy with school, work and being pregnant (my daughter, not me!) that we don’t seem to have been in the same house all at once for months.
I’ve been inspired by your list to organise a family game night :o)
