A musical adaptation of the bestselling book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler
Oh, I wish “The Smartest Giant in Town” had been made into a play years ago, this was one of mine and Danny’s favourites. George wishes he wasn’t the scruffiest giant in town. So when he sees a new shop selling giant-sized clothes, he decides it’s time for a new look: smart trousers, smart shirt, stripy tie, shiny shoes. Now he’s the smartest giant in town . . . until he bumps into some animals who desperately need his help – and his clothes!
This heart-warming tale about friendship and helping those in need is brought to life in a musical, puppet-filled adventure, following on from Little Angel Theatre’s bestselling adaptations of Julia Donaldson’s picture books including The Singing Mermaid and The Everywhere Bear.
Age guide: 2 – 8 years old

28. “Sabotage” by No Fit State Circus at Pembrokeshire County Show Ground
8th – 23rd April 2022
Premiering at the Pembrokeshire County Showground, SABOTAGE is darker and grittier, with a more subversive edge. A boisterous performance with our trademark large scale spectacle, awe inspiring circus acts, new apparatus, exceptional original music, live projections, and more theatrical elements.
SABOTAGE challenges the status quo, it is an energising, uplifting and socially relevant contemporary circus production. Our personal journeys bring us to this place. Our struggles, and privileges, have shaped that journey. And yet we find ourselves in the common meeting ground of the circus tent, with the common language of circus. SABOTAGE explores our separation, and our belonging. Saboteurs stand out. They stand up. They challenge the establishment. They are heard.
Nothing in SABOTAGE makes it unsuitable for children, but it was not made specifically for them.
