It’s that time of year again- yes, time for Santa’s Tour of Milford Haven. He passed Nanny’s house on Monday. The girls had Brownies and Guides. Luckily, Izzy finished Brownies earlier and was in time to track Santa on Glympse and she found him. Take a look:

Every year Milford Haven Round Table organises Santa’s Tour of Milford Haven. Thankfully, it’s one of the lovely Christmas traditions that has managed to continue despite Covid-19. The only difference is Santa doesn’t stop for photos now but that’s fine, it’s just lovely to see him pass through the streets of our town.

At Nanny’s house, we looked at her lovely Christmas lights and then waited for Santa. We used the Glympse tracker but also enjoyed listening out for him just as we used to do when I was young. We always hear him in the street behind Nanny’s house first, so know he’s getting closer. Izzy, Nanny, and Jo rang the Christmas bells while they waited for him.

There he is! We found Santa! “Santa! I know him!” We gave him a wave and also waved to all his helpers. Izzy was offered some sweets and said “Told you, Mum!” as I’d warned her there might not be sweets this year- but there were!
Past Videos of Santa’s Tour of Milford Haven
Take a look at these videos of Santa’s previous tours of Milford Haven. It’s such a good reminder to always take videos and upload them. These are not the best at all but it’s so lovely to look back on the memories:
Santa’s Tour of Milford Haven 2015:
Santa’s Tour of Milford Haven 2017 (at Nanny’s). I forgot it snowed that year- ho ho ho!
Santa’s Tour of Milford Haven 2019. This was the year we had to go and find him. The girls have grown up so much in the last two years. It makes me quite sad seeing photos from videos from December 2019, before things changed so much:
Thanks so much to Milford Haven Round Table for organising Santa’s Annual Tour, we love it and appreciate it every year. Santa’s Tour continues for two more nights, see where he’s headed next here: https://www.facebook.com/milfordhavenroundtable
Milford Haven Round Table fundraise for a lot of local charities. This year it’s even easier to donate with the text service. Text MHRT to 70450 to donate £3.
Have you seen Santa this year?
