Rugby is an extremely thrilling sport. Men and women all over the country love rugby because it is fast and a little bit on the rough side too! If watching the 6 Nations Championship has inspired you to take up the sport, you need to prepare. It’s important, if you really want to enjoy this sport, to make sure you find a quality store to buy all of your equipment from. But, how do you find the best rugby stores? Well, you need to ask the following questions whenever you are assessing a store’s worth…
What products do you sell?
The first question you should always ask is what products the company sells. You need to make sure you can get all of your rugby equipment from the one place. This includes everything from rugby clothing, to training equipment, to mouth guards. The latter is imperative. A lot of men have had to have bone grafting which is a minor surgical procedure after playing rugby because of taking a hit to the face. I remember my dad having his fare share of injuries when he was playing.
What brands do you sell?
Finding out what brands the company sells is just as important as the products they provide. Why? Well, a top-quality brand is likely to lead to products of an excellent standard. Some of the best brands in the world of rugby include the likes of Gilbert and Canterbury.
How long do I have to wait to receive my products?
There is no point going for a rugby store if you have to wait weeks and weeks to get your hands on the products you have ordered. Where is the fun in that? Make sure you check out the company’s delivery policy before you commit to buying.
Can I read some of your reviews?
It is always a good idea to read reviews that have been left by previous customers. This is the best way to get an honest insight into the sports products sold by the company, as well as the service provided. If customers have been generally unhappy this is something you should easily be able to pick up on and thus you know to buy your products from another website instead.
If you ask the four questions that have been mentioned you should have no trouble narrowing down the array of rugby stores on the web to find the best one for your needs specifically. Just remember to ensure they have a good range of products and brands, as well as positive reviews and a good delivery service.

Haha! Oh, thank you! I used that photo in a previous post- didn’t realise I’d inserted it instead of the rugby one this morning! The right shaped balls do help! I need more coffee- or tea in my case! Thanks so much for commenting and letting me know. Yes, it’s great they seem to play more rugby in schools now, my girls love (tag) rugby but when I was in school only the boys played but rugby has always been a big part of our lives. xxx
Same here. Boys played rugby and girls played netball at school. I had to wait until I was at uni to get stuck in to some good games of rugby on crispy mornings in muddy fields. Very character-building!
Thanks – hadnt realised how much there was to learn
