Every year our local Round Table organisation organise a Santa tour around our town. They work so hard and improve on the event year on year, this year the event was taking place over four nights. Between clubs, carol concerts and discos we’ve found it difficult to arrange to see Santa this year- we missed him at Nanny’s house on Monday and we’ll be at another carol concert when he drives past our house tomorrow. So tonight (Wednesday) we used the Glympse Santa Tracker to find Santa and went to find him instead, take a look:
By a strange coincidence, due to our own and Santa’s location it made sense for us to see him when he drove down a street where I lived many moons ago for the first two years of my life with Mum and Jo (and my late Dad of course).
We waited patiently for Santa. We could hear the Christmas music so we knew he was on his way. Before the internet, we used to rely on the local newspaper to tell us what day Santa was visiting and we had to listen very carefully and keep looking out of the window so we wouldn’t miss him! While we waited, his helpers came and offered the kids some sweets, which was handy as it took Caitlyn’s mind off her sore wrist.
Then Santa arrived! The girls had a quick chat with him and a photo. He told them he’d missed seeing them on Monday when he passed their Nan’s house. As he drove off, Izzy asked how he knew them and how he knew that! The magic of Christmas!
And then Santa was off on his way to see the rest of the children in the town. Tomorrow (Thursday) is the last day of Santa’s Tour of Milford Haven. If you’re local make sure you’re following Santa’s Tour of Milford Haven Facebook Page. The Glympse link will be posted between 5.30pm – 5.45pm so you can find out when Santa will be visiting your street or find the best place to go and visit Santa – enjoy!
Thank you to Milford Haven Round Table for organising each year!
What Christmas events do you enjoy in your town?
I made this quick video and then realised I’ve used the same theme as last year- oops!
Looks like brilliant fun
