We were sent the Miniature Fairy Garden Set for purposes of review.
Fairy Gardens are enchanting and add a little magic to any garden. We were recently sent the Miniature Fairy Garden Set (7 pieces, Fairy House w/Yellow Daisy Roof) from Parva Garden to review. Izzy has had great fun making and playing with her new fairy garden. They make great fairy ornaments for adults too. Read to to find out our thoughts and to be in with a chance to win a Miniature Fairy Garden Set of your own:
Miniature Fairy Garden Set
The Miniature Fairy Garden Set costs £22.68 and is available from Amazon (with next day delivery for Prime customers). Our set arrived promptly and we were impressed with the packaging which ensured all our pieces arrived in perfect condition.
What’s in the Box?
We were so delighted to unwrap each piece. We love fairies so you can imagine our chorus of “Oohs” and “Awws” as we excitedly looked at each fairy item. The Miniature Fairy Garden Set contains:
- 1 Yellow daisy roof fairy house
- 1 standing fairy
- 1 fairy on garden arbor swing
- and a 4 piece fairy seating collection.
Each piece is hand-painted with attention to detail. They are durable and weather resistant so you can choose whether to have an indoor or outdoor fairy garden. Ours is in the garden.
Making Our Fairy Garden
There are many different ways to create a fairy garden. Some people choose to use artificial grass and create an indoor fairy garden which can be played with in any weather. Izzy wanted an outdoor fairy garden that she could grow real flowers in ready for spring and summer.
We filled a pot with soil.
Izzy arranged her fairy garden accessories in the pot.
Once she was happy with her arrangement she secured them in the soil. Each item is great quality and a good weight which is reassuring as we live in a windy, coastal area.
Izzy then sprinkled some grass and wild flower seeds. She watered them and is waiting patiently for them to grow.
You could also put pebbles, stones, shells or moss as a fairy garden surface, it’s completely up to you.
Playing with Your Fairy Garden
Each time we walk through the garden we check on the fairies and admire our new fairy garden. Izzy loves to play with this set while she’s outside. We’re looking forward to adding more pieces. We’re planning to add a Miniature Fairy Lake to this set. We’re also going to buy more fairy garden fairies and fairy garden signs to dot around in other filled plant pots and borders in our garden.
These sets make great gifts as you can never have too many fairies or fairy gardens.
They will be garden treasures for many years. I’ll share more photos once she’s raked her seeds (with a fork!) and has some flowers coming through, it will be beautiful.
