Mother’s Day is coming up. If you’re planning to craft your own card and gifts now is the time to design and make to ensure you’ll be ready by Sunday 31st March. An embroidered card or wall hanging can make a wonderful personal gift and is very quick to do if you have an Embroidery Machine. Luckily there is lots of inspiration on Pinterest and many machine embroidery design ideas can be found at Design Bundles. Here are seven of my favourite embroidery machine designs for Mother’s Day:
1. Mother’s Love – Elephant
I love elephants and the bond they have between a mother and calf. This design featuring a mother elephant, calf elephant and hearts is so sweet and would make a lovely Mother’s Day Card design. It’s also available in an outline applique design.
2. Flowers in a Heart Vase
Say it with flowers. This embroidery bunch of flowers in a heart vase will last longer than a bunch of real flowers. Add this design to a card or frame it to remind your mum of your love all year around.
3. Fox and Flowers
This fox and flowers design is perfect for wildlife loving mums who love foxes. This design is so verstatile, it would look great on a card, in a frame or on a gift.
4. Periodic Table “Mother”
Do you have a Scientist mum or does she just love everything to do with Science? This Periodic Table “Mother” design looks great on a personalised towel as picture. It would also make a novel card design or wall hanging. You could even sew it onto a pillowcase or cushion cover.
5. M❤️ther Gift Card Case
Are you treating your mum to a gift card this Mother’s Day? If so this Mother gift card case design would be a great choice. Mum can continue to use it as a travel or credit card holder after the special day.
6. Bird in Heart Tree
Tweet your love for your mum with this cute bird in a heart tree design. It’s so sweet and would be lovely framed and hung up on a wall.
7. Vintage Flower Designs
This vintage flower design is so versatile it could be used for lots of occasions. It would make a lovely card, pillowcase or gift design for the mum who loves bold, bright flowers.
All of these designs are for machine embroidery only. To use them you must have an embroidery machine and the software needed to transfer it from your computer to the machine.
