I know we’re already a few days into January but I couldn’t write my first post of 2019 without wishing all my friends, family and readers a happy and healthy New Year.  I didn’t take many photos of our NYE Celebrations as I forgot the golden rule of taking lots of photos before the night gets too messy!  Here are the few I took:

On New Year’s Eve I felt so tired after Christmas.  I actually felt like curling up with a book and a hot chocolate instead of partying.  Thankfully I managed to wake myself up and get over to mums!  Once I’d had a drink I began to wake up more!  The night went so quickly though.  I remember it seemed to take ages to get to midnight when we were younger.

We expected it to be a quiet one but instead we had friends, neighbours and family visit which was lovely.

We stuck to most of our NYE traditons but unintentionally skipped a few.  Thanks so much to Tony for coming around and letting the New Year into mums, despite not feeling well, that was much appreciated.
