Last week we wandered down to Milford Marina for their annual free Easter Egg hunt. We first went to the newly reopened and refurbished Milford Museum to collect our forms and pencils and then we were off (can you spot the shark in the docks?).
We wandered past the shops of Milford Marina looking for our clues.
Izzy loves finding clues and writing down her answers.
I enjoy a spot of window shopping!
Trwffl sell delicious vegan chocolates- Dave surprised me with a dairy free Easter egg from here!
There are lots of food places to choose from at Milford Marina too- the Lounge looks tempting!
When I’ve visited The Harbourmaster in the past I’ve managed to “veganise” a meal or ordered extras but it’s great to see that they also have vegan options available now too.
I love these cushions (the one on the right reminds me that I need to visit Skomer this year).
We then wandered across Mackerel Quay counting the bunny paw prints for our next clue.
We checked the “Easter specials” at Foam for another clue.
It was a fun free few hours out with friends.
We swapped our forms for Easter eggs- thank you Milford Waterfront for organising this event each year!
There was also an Easter fair but it wasn’t opening until later in the afternoon so we wandered home to get warm and dry once more (we got caught in showers at the end of the trail)! In the past we have made a day out of the Easter Egg Trail by going to the fair too.
Over Easter we also enjoyed an Easter Egg Hunt with family– did you take part in any Easter egg hunts this year?
