Ooh the first post of the year! Happy New Year everyone- we hope you enjoyed your New Year’s celebrations. The main aim for our New Year’s Eve Celebrations was to have an easy, enjoyable night and to keep mum out of hospital. I’m pleased to say that we achieved all and had a lovely night. Here are a few snapshots of our night:
The kids had fun playing, the adults chatted and put the world to rights, a new year was bought into the house and the party poppers were set off.
The following day, New Year’s Day, we were relieved that mum still felt well. I got up and went for a run with Toby as I’m taking part in the Run Every Day in January Challenge for Mind.
We had fajitas for a change on New Year’s Day and all enjoyed.
New Year’s Day was spent playing games and watching films.
We had “afternoon tea” for teatime. We always feel too full to eat all the puddings and sweet treats after meals over Christmas, so this was a great way to enjoy them.
Now we’re into the new year, the Christmas decorations are down and we’re making plans for 2018. Do you have any exciting plans for the year?
Happy new year all!
Happy NEW year hopefully I'LL have my dream kitchen in place this year – cant wait
