On Saturday we took part in the Nutcracker Christmas Trail down Milford Marina. They always put on great Christmas events (although we’re really missing the ice rink- please bring that back) which we like to support each year.
We picked up our forms at Milford Museum and walked across to Phoenix Bowl to find the first clue.
Every time we found a different Nutcracker we had to make a note of his name. Izzy did really well copying all the names down.
After Phoenix Bowl we popped to the Waterfront Gallery.
In the Gallery we found Ebenezer Nutcracker.
There was also a Nativity Scene in the window.
We then walked back to Milford Museum to find Nut Ella. There was also a Santa’s Grotto within the museum.
Then we walked along the Dock’s Shops. As well as the trail there were also special vouchers for most of the shops and businesses along the way.
Eventually we found the tenth and last Nutcracker.
We posted our entry form into Santa’s postbox (nope we didn’t win).
However the younger girls did get sweeties!
Then The Snowman and The Snow Dog made a special appearance.
Only Caitlyn was “brave” enough to have a photo with him. Rebecca and Izzy aren’t keen on big characters.
The films were also being shown.
We then went to The Crow’s Nest to collect our goody bags and get hot drinks and food.
We had a lovely time-thanks Milford Marina!
Oh wow that's a magical experience pity I don't live nearer
What a lovely day out, a great way to explore the town too, we don't have the pop up ice rink near us any more either but looks like you enjoyed yourselves all the same xxx
