Two years on from Frozen, we still have Frozen Fever in this house. We are so happy that Elsa is back on screen (this time in LEGO form) in Disney LEGO’s Frozen Northern Lights.
We were kindly sent some goodies to help us enjoy the show premiere and hold a #frozenin #frozennorthernlights party. The girls got cosy under the fleece frozen blanket.
They read the Frozen comic and played while they waited for the show to start. This comic also kept Isabelle entertained on a train journey the next day.
Frozen Northern Lights Elsa Doll
We then opened up the Frozen Northern Lights Elsa Doll from Jakks Pacific. If you are planning on buying this as a Christmas gift, you will be pleased to hear that it’s easy to open and all set to go.
Once out of the box, Elsa, was ready to play and go on an adventure to find the Northern Lights:
Queen Elsa of Arendelle needs your help to bring back the Northern Lights and restore her powers. Wave your hand over the interactive snowflake, and create beautiful colours, lights and magical sounds with Elsa. When you hold your hand over the snowflake, watch as the beautiful Northern Lights are restored and sparkle upon Elsa’s dress as she sings “Let it Go”. Elsa says 40 phrases, lights up and sings. The 14” Disney Frozen Northern Lights Elsa Doll is suitable for ages 3+ and comes complete with an interactive snowflake (RRP: £39.99)
Elsa arrived in Try Me mode (T), so we switched her to O, On Mode, to play (X is to turn her off).
We pressed Elsa’s necklace to hear her say different magical phrases.
Underneath the snowflake you can choose from Interact with Elsa (I), Off (X) or nightlight (N) mode.
In Interact with Elsa mode the girls waved their hands over the snowflake and watched it change colour as Elsa made magical sounds and her skirt changed colour too.
Our favourite part was when the girls held their hand over the snowflake for more than 2 seconds which prompts Elsa to sing the infamous Frozen theme tune, “Let it Go” as her dress lights up again.
Yes, we loved joining in singing the song!
It is such a fun toy that will be treasured. As a wire connects the Elsa doll to the snowflake it is a toy to take special care of. However, the lead can be removed and stored somewhere safe if you would prefer your child to play with the Elsa doll only.
It’s usually priced at £39.99 but you can currently (at the time of writing) purchase the Northern Lights Elsa Doll for £24.99 at Smyths and for £29.99 at Argos in a save 25% special offer and these are great prices for this doll.
Elsa Decoration
We were also sent this gorgeous Disney Elsa Christmas Decoration. It’s beautiful.
I only noticed later that the girls names are engraved on the tag which makes it even more special.
Disney LEGO northern Lights can be enjoyed on Disney Junior. In true LEGO style, it has tongue in cheek humour and is an enjoyable watch.

We were sent these Frozen items as a means to review. All opinions are honest and our own.
