We are so pleased to join the Chad Valley Play Panel, as well as having the chance to review a variety of toys, we also get to run regular competitions for our loyal readers, kicking off with today’s competition to win £75 worth of Argos vouchers (which I know will come in very handy at this time of year).
I grew up with Chad Valley toys in the days when “Woolies” (Woolworths) was still open. I was so pleased when Argos took over this brand in 2009 so I could continue to buy Chad Valley toys for my own children.
150 years old, the range of over 400 Chad Valley toys is exclusively available at Argos and the majority of toys are for babies, toddlers and younger children. The really special thing about Chad Valley is that all the toys are designed and developed purely with play in mind. That’s it, just pure play and imagination! So, you’ll see hero products such as the Wooden Police & Fire Station and the incredibly life-like Tiny Treasures newborn baby dolls, which are incredibly popular as they allow children aged 0-3 to submerge themselves in pure imagination, creating their own little worlds to play in. That said, older children are important too, which is why you’ll also find ranges like Design A Friend, offering imaginative fun for children up to the age of nine.
Our first toy that we have reviewed is the Chad Valley “Babies to Love” Lily Interactive Doll which was a great hit and if you’re not already familiar with the range I’m sure you’ll love the toys available too. I have chosen some toys in the top collage that you could buy with £75 worth of vouchers and still have change left over- they are great quality and great value.

I actually just bought the chad valley baby trampoline today, fast track. So that's off my list but I'd love to buy some more wooden toys like the alphabet abacus and the wooden activity box, my little boy is almost 21 months old and there's always a good selection of chad valley toys in Argos for great prices for him
