My girls love Sofia the First on Disney Junior, so we were excited to be sent some toys from the new range to review. Take a look:
Sofia the First Backpack
This Sofia the First Backpack (£12.99) is very handy for all Sofia fans. We’re already sorted for school bags so will use this to carry around the Sofia toys so they can play with them on the move- a bag like this comes in handy when waiting around for appointments and after school clubs.
Sofia the First Royal Camera
The first toy was the Sofia the first Royal Camera (£9.99) for ages 3 and up. It has a removable lens, real camera sound effects and shows you eight Sofia the First scenes as you press the shutter. I used to love viewfinders like this when I was younger. My favourite was one that showed me photographs of Charles and Diana’s “Royal Wedding”- I was fascinated by it!
Sofia the First Magazine
We were also sent a Sofia the First magazine (£2.99) which was packed full of things for the girls to do. These are so handy when travelling and great for learning too.
Sofia the First Royal Tiara
I’ve mentioned before that we all love dressing up in this house so often add to our fancy dress collection.
Kids can never have too many tiaras and we love this Sofia the First Royal Tiara (£6.99). It’s a comfortable, easy to wear headband with a Sofia decoration and jewels. I know this will get lots of use.
Disney Junior Princess Amber’s Closet playset
The playsets and collectible figures were the favourites out of the Sofia the First goodies. Each playset comes with a spinning wall that features a magical reveal.
Amber’s Closet Playset comes with a closet which spins to reveal her mirror. Children can help Princess Amber get ready for the ball.
There is also a mini mannequin and accessories.
Disney Junior Sofia the First Magical Classroom
The second playset is Sofia the First’s Prep Art Class Playset (£9.99).
Children can help Sofia paint a picture by using the wet sponge.
Then spin the wall for the finished painting reveal! There is also a Magical Lab playset available.
Sofia the First with Royal Friend Assorted Figures
My kids loved these collectable assorted Sofia the First figures (£5.99) which all come with a special animal friend, in Sofia’s case her pet lop rabbit Clover.
Princess Ruby is accompanied by Mia, the kind and helpful bluebird.
While Princess Jade has the pet dragon, Crackle.
The figures are poseable and can sit or stand for realistic, enjoyable play. There are six in total: collect Sofia in her three different outfits and her friends Amber, Ruby, and Jade for the complete assortment.
Our Thoughts
We had great fun playing with all the Sofia the First goodies.
I can tell that the figures will be played with the most and will be added to over time.
The playsets make great presents.
The figures are an affordable and collectable treat.
