Every month I think I’ll get better with my siblings posts but every month I only get worse! We’ve just got back from a little holiday and I didn’t even realise that the 15th of the month had already passed. It still feels like early August to me (I’m getting left behind again!). So “the sibling’s project” has been far from my mind but having a quick look through our online photos luckily photos off all four kids together do actually exist for this month (phew). So here we are. We start off with the last snap of our recent day out at Longleat. It truly was a quick camera snap but I like the “quick poses” they made for the photo.
We also have some natural paddling in the sea pics. Every year I take lots of “in the sea” pics which get me through the cold winter months when I feel like it will never be warm again.
Although (as I mentioned in July’s Siblings post) Danny likes to go off for the day with his friends, these siblings are always good company when we’re out for the day and play nicely (well for the most part anyway!).
They all really look out for each other and help each other when climbing and exploring. Being a fair size group on their own, they often have other kids come up and start joining in playing with them too which is always lovely to see and great fun for them too.
After a day out together, there’s always the long, tired walk home or back to the car. Again they all rally each other here, singing songs or chatting to make the time pass, taking it in turns to carry the younger girls when they’re tired and helping to ensure a stubborn Danny stops for a needed rest too as well (sometimes by pretending they themselves need a rest).
Last weekend, Danny went away for a fun few days with Little Hearts Matter- here his sisters give him a goodbye cuddle before he went. He had an amazing time and I’m sure a nice break from this crazy family, but it’s definitely nice to have them all back together again.
Next month’s siblings will be in September- back to school month! Eek!
Enjoy the rest of the holidays everyone!
