We don’t have a family pet but are very lucky that we get to look after Nanny’s dog, Toby, and see him often for cuddles, walks and a play. He is so lovely and really good with all of the children. The kids would love a pet of their own of course and one day we would love to add a dog to our family (maybe once all of the kids are old enough to share the dog walking and we have a bigger home and garden).
Petplan asked the kids to draw their dream pet if they could have any kind of pet in the world. These are their ideas:
A part cat, part unicorn and part cow.
A part horse, swan, unicorn and dragon.
And lastly, a swan with a unicorn horn, rainbow wings and beak (beautiful).
As you can tell we love swans! Our dream pet was to be made into a cuddly toy. I asked the kids to put their favourite parts of their dream pet together to make a shared dream pet so they could share the soft toy.
This was the result! Part cat, swan, cow, unicorn and dragon – phew- we don’t ask for much! I love the colourful legs and wings. We sent off our photo and waited patiently for our dream pet to arrive.
Here is Cheshire! He’s cuddly, colourful and crazy so he fits in very well in this house. Our very own dream pet!
I love his colourful rainbow wings- they’re fabulous!
Every dream pet needs a unicorn horn of course too.
We love Cheshire, he has been to school and the kids take it in turns to look after him. He’s quite quiet and not at all messy so a dream pet for me too!
What would your dream pet be?
Thank you Petplan for collaborating with us on this post. All opinions are honest and our own.
What a wonderful idea I know the little ones here would be totally hooked on this
I’d like to encourage my niece to draw her Jack Russell.
