My Sunday Photo this week is of a bunch of purple (and pink) flowers for my big sister, Jo.
May is Stroke Month and the Stroke Association encourage everyone to #MakeMayPurple to show support and help conquer stroke. I’ve been meaning to buy Jo a bunch of purple flowers all month and finally got around to it during the third week. I love the colour of the alliums in contrast to the pink flower of gerbera. We will also be planting purple flowers in the garden too.
Next month it will be two years since Jo’s stroke and she is looking at ways that she can start to help other stroke survivors. We are so proud of her and how she conquers new challenges every day.
I’m joining in with #MySundayPhoto as Sally from Teddy bears and Cardigans reminded me of this linky. I used to love “This Moment” and then “Silent Sunday” but fell out of the habit for some reason, but it’s good to be back!
