This Mother’s Day, I will be staying local but if we were near London, I know where we would love to spend our day, Harrods. It has everything you need for the perfect Mothering Sunday…

Say it With Flowers
Just a visit to Moyse Stevens Florists in the Harrods Food Hall on the ground floor is always a treat. The sight and scent of these exquisite hand tied fresh flower bouquets never fail to put a smile on my face, it would be lovely to buy a bunch for Mum to take home too.
Let Them Eat Cupcakes
Harrods always have the prettiest cupcakes in the food hall. I particularly like the Spring themed cakes available around Mother’s Day. Definitely a sweet treat.
Tea for Two
My mum and I love a good afternoon tea, so to experience a “Wedgewood Traditional Afternoon Tea” in The Tea Room would be idyllic.
Add Some Bubbles
Actually, only one thing could be better than “Afternoon Tea” with Mum, and that’s Champagne Tea with Mum in The Georgian Restaurant.
Gifts for Mum
Harrods is the ultimate shopping destination with gifts to suit everyone, so choose a Mother’s Day gift while you’re here.
Relax Mum
The most indulging relaxing treat on Mother’s Day would have to be time spent in The Moroccan Hamman at Harrods Urban Retreat.
The Moroccan Hammam spa provides you with a spirited and cultured social environment in which to relax, revive the mind and soften the skin.
I admit that I’ve never been to spa before (yes, I know!), but this one really appeals to me. I could certainly do with the “warm room” during this cold spell.
Unlike a traditional spa treatment, the hammam experience will involve three different rooms. A warm room to acclimatise your body to the heat, the main hot hammam area where your personal kessala will carry out the luxury cleansing and bathing ritual and a decadent lounge area to lie back and enjoy that extra moment of sheer relaxation and calm with a Moroccan tea to aid in restoring and balancing your fluid levels.
It sounds blissful.
Which of these experiences would you prefer or would you like to do them all?
