While Rebecca was busy building her LEGO Friends set, Caitlyn and Isabelle were also building LEGO. They were sent LEGO Juniors Pony Farm (10674) to review. The main highlight of the LEGO Junior range is it is easy to build for younger children (and adults like me with chunky hands).
The colourful LEGO® Juniors Pony Farm has everything a horse needs, from grooming accessories to jumps and a cozy cottage for her rider!
I love that this set comes in an iconic strong, sturdy plastic storage box.
The clear instructions and numbered bags simplify the building of the LEGO. As always the girls required no help (they know that they’re far better at me than building LEGO anyway!).
It comes with a girl mini figure and her horse. Izzy started playing with these immediately.
Caitlyn, meanwhile, concentrated on building so she would quickly have a new toy to play with.
We love the finished set.
The main set is a stable with two jumps. It can also be rebuilt into a house with garden and fireplace or a picnic scene with bench, table and tree (instructions are included).
There is a working door, opening windows and lots of accessories including a saddle and bridle for the horse, flower pots, flowers and tasty carrots for the horse.
There is space for the horse to go inside the stable.
This set also comes with extra bags of LEGO so the builder can practice building their own items to add to the set. Of course it can all be rebuilt too.
This is a great first set of LEGO for 4-7 year olds to develop their building skills. The girls love it as they love horses.
It is £24.99 so great value especially as it comes with a storage box too and will last the kids for years to come.
