As British Summer Time is now officially over, on October 25th, the clocks will be turning back (Fall Back, Spring Forward). This will mean lighter mornings and darker nights. On the morning of October 26th, it will of course mean we all get “an extra hour”. We will be on half term then so I think I’m just going to use my extra hour for an hours extra sleep as I really need that at the moment. Hopefully that extra hour will give me the extra energy that I’ll need for a busy half term.
After half term, I’m planning to use the extra morning daylight wisely to go for a very early morning run. I’m not sure how this will work out to be honest, as I’m definitely more of a night owl than a morning person usually! However, I miss the hours of sunlight during winter, so this will be a great way for me to get more sunshine and also to avoid running in the dark.
We will also be able to enjoy more sunsets on the beach now that they will be taking place earlier in the evenings. Chips on the beach as the sun sets- perfect!
