As well as enjoying the sunshine and our free days this Summer, we’ve also been busy getting ready for school. As you know, we’ve already got part of our school uniform ready but we still needed more. I find we need plenty of spares (uniform often ends up being left at school) and it helps me to keep up with the washing I have to do (quite a lot with four messy playful kids).
I always stock up at George at Asda, especially for the basics like underwear, tights and socks. Here the girls wear their new school cardigans, skirts and tights from the school range. There is a lot of variety. I like how girls can choose from playsuits, skirts and pinafores. My girls often choose different clothes to wear, when they can.
Rebecca’s cardigan is set apart by the bow detail- we love the pockets too.
Caitlyn wears the Scallop Edged Cardigan, this is available in Navy from just £3.
We’ve also picked up cycling shorts (two pairs from just £3). Sports uniform isn’t compulsory at the girls school. but I like them to have a specific “sports uniform” so it makes it easier to pack each week and keep their “out of school” clothes separate from uniform.
My favourite buy this school season from George at Asda has to be the Hooded Floral Print Mac (from £10). It is the perfect school coat for Caitlyn. Her favourite colour is blue and she loves this floral print. She has a similar one already that offers waterproof protection, however this one also has a warm fleece lining so can be used as a Winter coat as well as a waterproof. I’m now on the look out for a similar one for me. They also sell School Pack a Macs from £4, which are so handy to always have packed in the kids bags for those sudden showers on a sunny day.
The girls found this uniform comfortable, well fitting and loved the look of it. I have found it easy to care for and good quality.
Thank you to Asda for sending us our choice of uniform to review. All opinions are our own.
