In January, Izzy started part time nursery at our local school. At the moment she is doing “afternoons” and at some point will move to mornings before going full time next January.
Of course, I know that I will miss her lots in January but I have found that my kids (apart from Danny!) actually cope better with full time school rather than part time. It’s easier to get into a routine as a family and also as I will get all the housework and my business work done in the day, that precious time when I pick the kids up from school will be devoted to them instead of me trying to do too many things at once.
At the moment the struggle I have is with clothes. She gets up early with her siblings and wants to put her uniform on and go to school. I can’t let her as she would get her uniform too messy for school as she likes to do hands on crafts or play outside not to mention the lunchtime mess she still makes!
If we didn’t go out anywhere then I would just keep her in pyjamas but it’s rare we have a morning free. After dinner, I then need to change her again into her uniform so I like to have play clothes that are easy to put on – she’s very independent and likes to dress herself – and also easy to care for.
We were sent this Girls Velour Tracksuit from Bright Surprise to review and it fits all our requirements as well as being cute and great for imaginative play- we love the bunny ears! It is so soft as it’s made from 100% velour and really comfortable for Izzy to wear. They also sell hooded velour dress sets that would be perfect for playing on the beach and slipping over swim costumes to warm up after paddling. They’re easy to wash, easy to put on, really good quality and look great. Off course you can mix the trousers and cardigan up too- Izzy loves to wear the top with a tutu- she is a ballerina bunny!
