Just before Christmas I was asked to review the StyleLux Blackhead Killer Peel Off Mask. This was good timing with Christmas nights out and celebrations coming up. I decided to treat my skin the night before Dave’s Work’s Do.
The first thing you will notice is the mask is very black. It reminds me of black treacle. I put it on as well as I could, I did find it stuck to my fingers so I couldn’t put it on as thickly as I would have liked. However, once my skin was covered enough, I waited the ten minutes for it to dry.
Like other peel off masks it will give you the tingling sensation of your skin tightening and you may not be able to smile ot talk easily within this time…so just relax.
Once the time is up, you should be able to peel off the mask easily. As I hadn’t applied the mask thickly, then I had to peel it off in sections, so I would advise that you do take more time to put the mask on than I did. I must learn not to be so impatient!
Once the mask was removed I gave my skin a wash with warm water, patted it dry, used toner, serum and moisturiser. I was very pleased with the results.
I didn’t have any blackheads to remove, but I noticed my skin looked less red and blotchy. My skin also looked and felt fresher, smoother and more radiant than usual as a result of the dead skin cells being removed.
This facemask also claims to prevent future breakouts of blackheads with regular use.
I really liked this facemask, which is from the US, it is reassuring to know that it only contains natural, herbal ingredients.
Have you tried this facemask before? Did you get good results too?
Disclosure: I was sent this Blackhead Killer Peel Off Mask to review. All opinions are my own.
I'm going to be sent some of this too 🙂 Looks good
I do have bad skin, so I turned this review down as I thought no way am I publishing make up free photos to show the "after" look.
I forgot about the "after" photo altogether, so had to use this snap I took while getting ready for the works do. Hence Christmas boppers on head! 😉 x Are you doing the Quickmax for lashes? x
Hope you like it too! 🙂 x
Nope, not heard from stylelux since i said no to this one.
