Christmas 2013 was…
Reading Christmas stories and books.
Opening letters from Santa. We also watched our videos from Santa’s Portable North Pole.
Meeting Santa.
Enjoying new toys.
Eating, drinking and being rather “merry” at Christmas Dos.
Attending Christingle and Crib services (at the Crib Service Caitlyn carried a lamb).
Eating delicious treats at our “Christmas Eve Tea.”
Sprinkling Reindeer Food for Santa’s Reindeer to help them find their way and keep them well fed.
Teaching younger siblings the Christmas rituals.
A sprinkle of magic.
Leaving a mince pie for Santa, a carrot for Rudolph and a shandy for Santa.
Using Lush Christmas Eve Bathbombs in our baths. It never fails to help the kids fall asleep on such an exciting night.
Wearing new Christmas Eve pyjamas to bed.
Reading “The Night Before Christmas.”
Coming to the end of our Advent Calendars (Jesus is in the Manger 🙂 ).
Waking up to see that Santa “has been!”
Opening presents.
Playing with new toys. From Hogwars Hover Assault, Sofia the First Magic Castle to Teksta Robot puppy. Everyone had lots of new Lego too!
A visit to the cemetery to think of those no longer with us at Christmas.
More presents at Nanny’s and a delicious Christmas dinner.
Some fresh air with a much needed Christmas walk to Great Granny’s house. We all had Great Grampy in our thoughts as he spent his Christmas in hospital. We are planning to have a Christmas tea with him next week instead.
New scooters from Uncle Keith made the “walk” home in the dark a lot speedier and fun.
Back to Nanny’s for Christmas tea. Then we all changed into our Christmas pyjamas to snuggle up watching Christmas tele. I did not notice Danny posing with an empty can until I viewed the photo! I suppose he does follow me with my glass of wine.
Drinks with cocktail cherries.
Coke in glass bottles. Family games to play.
Babycham.
We had a lovely Christmas. Thanks so much to all my family, especially my mum, for making it so wonderful.
I can’t wait for New Years Day now, which is like another Christmas Day but without the presents!
I hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
Lovely post. I'm glad you and your family had a great Christmas. xxLeanne – A Slice of My Life
