I love Bonfire Night! We had hot dogs for tea and decorated “Firework” Fairy Cakes. We didn’t have time to finish our Catherine Wheel Craft or play with our starry sky play dough, but I’m sure we’ll do that this week.
Then, we walked over to the rugby field to enjoy the rides. Sadly, the teacups weren’t there this year. Caitlyn asked to have a go on Hook a Duck- she was very happy with her prize of a cuddly Wolf!
Danny and Rebecca wanted to go on the Waltzers. Ceri and I went on too. I love the waltzers and screaming to go faster, I feel so weak and out of control on the ride, it always makes me feel like a teenager again without a care in the World. I definitely felt dizzier when it was over than I used to though! I need to up my iron intake again I think!
It was time to watch the fireworks. We temporarily mislaid Izzy’s hat, so kind Daddy gave her his own hat to keep her warm- leaving him with crazy “hat hair”!
Caitlyn cosied up with Aunty Ceri…
… just as she did the year before too!
She later went down the front to watch the fireworks with Rebecca and Cerys.
Later it was my turn to hold Izzy- this kept me nice and warm!
Danny got very cold and tired, so it was handy to have the buggy there for him to sit in and watch the rest of the fireworks. He felt better once rested and managed to join in the fun again once home.
There fireworks were set to James Bond Music, so we got to sing and boogy to “Nobody Does it Better” and “Live and Let Die” which is always good.
At home we lit our sparklers.
Then went inside for Hot Chocolate and cakes.
The kids all had fun playing together. Izzy loved really joining in with all the children this year. It’s lovely seeing her blossom.
Bonfire night is such a lovely night to see family and friends, I have to say a huge thank you to Milford Haven Round Table for another great year! I can’t wait for their next event which will be Santa coming around- we realy do appreciate all your hard work! Thank you!
How did you spend your Bonfire Night?
