Sunday was Father’s Day. I ran Race for Life in memory of my late Father.
Dave, as a good father, gave up his lazy breakfast in bed to support his eldest daughter at Race for Life. While we ran, he carried baby Isabelle in his arms when she needed him. Later, when my Mum and Ceri arrived and cuddled Izzy, he played with Danny and Caitlyn and pushed them really high on the swings, as Daddy does (but Mummy doesn’t!).
Here is Nanny with Izzy.
The photos of Dave and the kids playing all came out blurry…I wonder why!
You can see Dave and big kids in the background in Ceri’s photo.
When we got home, he fixed the kids pool, cleaned it and refilled it for them to play in again.
And of course, we visited Dave’s dad, Grampy!
Here he is reading to Caitlyn.
All the best Dad’s we could wish for.
I just wish mine was still with me.
Happy Father’s Day!
