Last week just returning to school for a new term was an adventure.   There were also after school activities to return to and new activities to start.

It was quite poignant that we saw a double rainbow shining in the sky on Thursday, when Caitlyn, cousin Cerys and lots of their friends started at a brand new Rainbow's group.  She had lots of fun and can't wait to go back next week!

I now have a Rainbow, a Brownie and a Cub/Scout (he is in transition- I call him a Sub!).

After all the recent storms and floods, it gave us hope to see the sun and the rainbow in the sky.

Izzy has her own little adventure, starting at "big girl" play group.  She went in fine and really seemed to enjoy it.  She was delighted that big brother, Danny came to pick her up from her first session ( he was sent home from school early as he wasn't feeling well).

I wonder what adventures this week will bring (apart from the blown tyre I got this morning, and the news that the tyre needed is out of stock so no new tyre for me until Wednesday)!

  1. Fab rainbow pictures! Can't believe Izzy is at playgroup already! Where does the time go! Rosie had her first 'taster' session at playschool last week, but doesn't start until September. It only seems five minutes since she and Izzy were brand new!! :-) x

  3. How lovely. My favourite picture is where they are holding hands. Didn't realise he was that old. My cub is still waiting to be old enough to go up but think he has all the badges already. Hope they are all enjoying their groups.
